Canning Queen
The domestic diva was back in action with her first canning experience. Armed with fresh veggies from the garden and a super frilly, girly apron I canned away the entire Labor Day afternoon. The goods: fresh applesauce, dilly beans, and hot pepper jelly. And by the way, the jelly is to die for! I made 9 jars of it and it won’t last long so come and get it while you can! I’m exceptionally proud of the jelly. The monstrous jalepenos came straight off the vine which made for some scrumptious jelly. Colby couldn’t believe that I actually made it, thus, I think I climbed a few rungs on the most awesome girlfriend ever ladder! What’s next on the to-can list? Various salsas and tomato sauces to use up the 30 plus pounds of tomatos that have come out of garden.

Hey Angie, Hope all is well up in moose country! Could you share the Hot Pepper Jelly recipe? My brother in law has about 20 lbs of hot peppers still on his vines and I would like to try making some jelly. Thanks, Clayt
