The 2013 Homies

We interrupt this regularly scheduled blog post to bring you some breaking news from Apartment Therapy.  The Homies are back folks…I repeat…The Homies are back!

And what exactly are The Homies?  Well…you can check it out for yourself here, or you can rely on my Reader’s Digest version of what they are.  Basically, it’s an award for bloggers…when you win The Homie award, you’re a super star blogger.  So you wouldn’t believe how ecstatic I was to find out that one of you dear readers nominated my little ol’ blog.  Who was that masked man (or woman)?!  Anyway…now’s the time that I get down on my knees and beg and grovel for all of you to go over to the Apartment Therapy website (you can just click over here) and vote for Angie’s Roost in the Best DIY Blog category.  And go now ‘cuz voting ends on Friday.  I know I have zero point zero chance of winning a Homie, but if I could at least convince eight of you (including my mom and husband) to go over and vote for me, I’ll be a happy camper!  So go vote as I send you all virtual hugs for all the bloggy support!  You guys are the best!

Pssst…FYI, you have to register on the Apartment Therapy website to be able to vote.  All it takes is a name and an email address and you’re good to go!
