The craft room in our Vermont home was one of the first rooms we tackled when we first bought our home. I love having a space that’s all my own. A space to create, make messes, and escape from the kids when I need a break. You’ll find me in here wrapping gifts like a mad-woman during the Christmas season, escaping for a quiet break with an adult coloring book, mixing up my latest essential oil roller, and sewing Halloween costumes for the kids. I’ve already made so many memories in this space with so many more to come.
High Contrast Paint For A Craft Room
Painting a craft room a dark green, almost black wall color, River Rock by Benjamin Moore. The dark wall color gives a moody feel for a creative space.
DIY Wrapping Paper Storage Rack From Scrap Wood
Building a DIY wrapping paper storage rack using scrap wood from some old shelves we removed from the house. Prepping and creating a wrapping station in the craft room in time for Christmas.
Craft Room Table Built From Recycled Wood
This zero dollar craft room table was built entirely from repurposed wood. Old fence posts and barn wood make up the frame with old shelving turned into a craft table top for all the creative projects.
Red Farmhouse Pendant For The Craft Room
A farmhouse pendant found in the free pile at the dump is transformed with a coat of red spray paint and hung over the craft room table as a work light.
