Pillow Talk

Before I get into this blog post, can I just say how ridiculously awesome Target is?  Ok, now that we’ve got that out of the way let’s talk about pillows.  Back here when we first got the couch for the office, I picked up some really cheap pillows from target.  I got three pillows for a grand total of around $20.  I wasn’t in love with the pillows but knew that I wanted something to fill the void.  Probably not my best decision in pillows, but they were cheap and we used them all the time.  The office couch has turned out to be a very popular nap time location.  So here are the pillows on the couch:

So then the other day while I was cruising Target (which is a weekly occurrence, sometimes bi-weekly if it’s a rainy week and I start to go stir crazy), I found the ones.  We’re talking drooling all over the shopping cart standing in the Target aisle about to pass out found the perfect pillows.  AND they were on sale!  I almost couldn’t contain myself.  I was shopping alone and needed confirmation that we HAD TO HAVE these pillows so naturally I sent Colby a series of text messages.  Needless to say, I’ve trained Colby well and whenever I’m having a should I or shouldn’t I buy the most amazing accessory in the world conundrum, he always responds with a yes.  So I made the purchase, justifying it that I could play a little game of pillow roulette and move the old office pillows down to the living room.  The living room pillows met their maker earlier this year thanks to our favorite pup, Goose.  Without further ado, the new office pillows:

They were originally priced at about $32, on sale for $25 and then on sale again for $18.  I bought two.  And used my Target card to save an extra 5%.  Another I love Target moment, I finally signed up for a Target card to save 5% on every purchase I make.  Considering I shop there regularly and pay my balance in full every month (pretty much after every purchase) it was a no-brainah (as the annoying Quality Jewelers guy would say).  Our nap times just got more stylish!

Pssst…I was not paid or bribed to confess my never ending love of Target, I’m just weirdly obsessed.  Any of you have store that is “your store” and you just can’t seem to get enough of it?
