On The Seventh Day Of Craft-Mas

On the seventh day of Craft-mas the crafting gods gave to me, a “Merry Christmas” sign very glittery.

Let’s zoom it in a little bit for a closer look:

Isn’t it cute?!  I get all giddy and tingly inside every time I see it.  Oh…and it’s located in the entryway so it’s the first thing I see every time I walk into the house.  And I can happily admit that this was a super simple project to create!  Yeehaw!  Let’s break it on down, you know the drill, starting with the supplies:

Which included glittery paper, letter stencils, and later a glue gun and some fishing line.  The process was simple…..first trace the letters onto the back of the card stock making sure to flop them over (you know…so you trace the letters backwards so when you flip them back to the glittery side the letters face the right direction).

Second…cut out the letters:

Then take your glue gun and some of your man’s fishing line (but don’t tell him…he may not appreciate his man stuff being used for glittery craftiness…I kid I kid):

and thirdly…glue the letters to the fishing line:

And done, dah done, done, done.  See…simple!  Let’s take another look:

The one thing I would do different…make another set of the glittery letters and glue them to the back since it’s visible in the mirror.  Whoops…didn’t think of that.  But I didn’t have enough glitter paper and I wasn’t about to head back to the craft store for the third time in one weekend, especially during the Christmas season.

Pssst…Christmas shopping update for those who care…I am DONE Christmas shopping…I repeat DONE!  Woohoo!  I have never been done this early.  And better yet…just about everything is wrapped and under the tree!  Woo to the hoo!  How is your Christmas shopping going?  Anyone else done and super stoked?!
