We are WAY overdue for updating you all on the yard progress we’ve been making the last couple of months…okay…more like in the last month (singular). We have been yard monsters! We’ve been working on the lawn, building new raised beds, planting the veggie garden and even building a new fence with a Goose gate … Read more
Here I go, here I go, here I go again, girls what’s my weakness?! Stools! Okay then! What?! Can’t a girl start a blog post with a little Salt ‘n Peppa circa 1992 around here?! Oh well I tried. Instead, we’re gonna talk about stools. Just to clarify, the ones that you sit on not … Read more

Consider yourself warned…this post is beefy…to match our beefy desk! I know…I got all (sarcastic) “original” up in the blog post title. But it was either that or “A Series Of Unflattering Pictures Of Colby Building A Desk”. Apparently I’m not overly creative these days. I blame the heat. Anyway…the other day we told you … Read more
I’m about to tell a little story, and not one of those stories where you have to find twenty dollars at the end of it just to make the story good. I’m very familiar with those stories…they’re my specialty. Except I usually have to find one-hundred dollars at the end of my stories because they’re … Read more
To wrap up our little “Blogiversary III” celebration this week, I thought it would be fun to do a little Day-In-The-Life post where you could follow me around for a “typical” day. Air quotes typical because it wasn’t necessarily a typical day for me (Wednesday), which was a work day and a slow one since … Read more
Once upon a time we had a yellow bathroom with cute little labeled towel hooks. Then, one day, the big bad Goose came along. And he huffed and he puffed and he pulled those towels down. Until he ripped out a couple hooks (only one of those hooks is still properly secured). For some reason, … Read more
As if I don’t get enough web stats and analytics during the work day (I’m a marketer by day and blogger by night), we’re gonna nerd out on you on the blog this evening with a little statistical analysis. Wait…don’t go…these are fun stats! So instead of marketing stats like average time on site, click … Read more
Is it sad that I’ve had this post (and subsequent play on a Rihanna hit for the blog post title) planned since October? Or equally sad that these are the things I remember but can never remember to pay the cell phone bill? Anyway…so now that Rihanna is officially stuck in your head too, let’s … Read more

I mustache you a question…does Colby have something on his face? I was sifting through photos on my mac this evening, trying to play blogger catch up after the craziness of opening an Etsy shop has subsided just a tad, when I realized I missed a complete step in our bathroom remodel, specifically with transforming … Read more
I’ve been kind of MIA lately. On Instagram…and Pinterest…and even on the blog. The reason? I’ve been up to my eyeballs in rustic, wooden iPad stands that we’ve been selling on our brand new Etsy shop, Roostic. I couldn’t be more uber excited about the success we’ve already had with the Etsy shop, which we … Read more

Do you remember the dancing banana/peanut butter jelly time video on YouTube? Here is a refresher. That’s what I get stuck in my head every time a Pinterest Challenge rolls around. You’re welcome…for getting it stuck in your head too. … Read more

And with that, I give you our “vitamin in a bottle” vitamin organization project result. Shortly after installing the first aid cabinet in our bathroom, which was also going to house Colby’s vitamin … Read more
